A.J. Molina,
MA-MAFT, LPC-S, Lic. 78690
Director
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from LeTourneau University. I am also a Certified Life Coach. I am certified in BrainSpotting (BSP), a SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) Facilitator and was awarded the Dale Carnegie Highest Achievement Award. I am a member of the Christian Counselors of Texas.
I worked in the business world for 30 years and answered a call to change professions to professional counseling. The lessons I learned there have given me an ability to help business professionals, couples, families, and individuals tackle the challenges of life. I also have a passion for helping men deal with “father issues”. Many men do not face the wound but instead they hide or ignore it. And I love helping young men on the path to manhood. I have experience working with adolescents, blended families, and couples (both premarital and marital). I look forward to walking with you on your journey.
Have you tried to fix your issues, but it didn’t work; things are the same? That’s because some issues in life can’t be fixed with willpower and a self-help book. You need a trained Christian counselor to come alongside you and help you find the core issue and address it so that you can get the freedom and life-change that you are seeking. If you are struggling with emotional, mental, sexual trauma, or should you need help to reduce the distress surrounding your life please contact me. These items can lead to attention issues, stress, anxiety, phobias, and anger. It is possible to release the stress of these things that overwhelm your nervous system so you can find the calm you need.
I am certified in a groundbreaking therapy called Brainspotting (BSP). BSP finds the eye position where the emotion is most strongly felt and then by using accompanying bilateral sounds, we calm the sympathetic nervous system and engage the calmer parasympathetic nervous system. BSP is effective with trauma, traumatic brain injury, preparation, or recovery from surgery, reducing attention issues, stress, anxiety, phobias, and addictive cravings. It is also effective for enhancing creativity and performance.

Abby Rehwinkel
Graduate Practicum Student*
I am a Graduate Practicum Student pursuing a master’s degree in Christian counseling. I am currently in my last year at Dallas Theological Seminary fulfilling the requirements of the master’s program. I am supervised by A. J. Molina MA-MAFT, LPC-S. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. I am a certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator for premarital and marital counseling.
I believe that each person is worthy of love, joy, peace, and acceptance. The happenings of the world can cause you to experience difficult challenges. These may lead to strained relationships with family and friends, health issues, traumatic events, mental health crises, or dysfunctional behaviors. They keep us from experiencing the fullness of life and can impact our ability to enjoy a full life. I am passionate about working with teens and young adults who struggle with relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, grief, family conflict, church hurt, religious trauma, and sexual trauma. If you have not healed from being hurt, then you will ‘bleed’ on the ones who have not hurt you.
As your therapist, I desire that you become seen and worthy. I desire to be your advocate and hold the light to help guide you to the hope that is offered to you through Jesus Christ. You are not alone in your fight. My goal is to work alongside you to collaborate on a treatment plan that is specialized to you. As your Christian Counselor, I am eager to walk alongside you through your journey of healing and self-exploration to find the root of these troubles and help you gain control again.
